GWR 2800 Class 2‑8‑0 No 2859, of 88A Cardiff East Dock, darkens the skyline at Barnt Green on a sunny 17^th September 1964 as it speeds southbound with a lengthy Class 8 loose‑coupled mineral train. This loco had the dubious distinction of being the last to be overhauled at the now long‑defunct Wolverhampton Works.
